Your Journey to Clear Vision
From the first evaluation through follow-up, here is what to expect.
Request a Consultation
Find a participating sleepSEE provider and request an evaluation. Your provider checks your vision, eye health, and corneal shape to determine whether Ortho-K is appropriate.
Custom Lens Design
Your provider uses corneal maps and prescription data to design sleepSEE lenses for your eyes.
Wear at Night
Wear the sleepSEE lenses overnight as directed. Some lens awareness can occur, especially at first.
Wake Up & See
Remove the lenses in the morning. Eligible patients can have daytime vision without glasses or contacts. For children, Ortho-K can be part of an individualized myopia-control plan.
Your Vision Timeline
Many patients reach their best daytime vision over the first few days or weeks. Timing varies by prescription, fit, and wear.
Getting Started
Some lens awareness is common while the cornea begins responding. Follow the provider's wear schedule and use backup correction if advised.
Response Review
The provider checks vision, lens fit, corneal health, and topography, then adjusts the plan when needed.
Daytime Vision
Daytime clarity and the time needed to reach it vary by prescription, lens fit, and individual response.
Care Plan Confirmed
The provider confirms the ongoing wear and follow-up schedule based on the patient's response.
Monitoring
Continue prescribed wear and attend scheduled checkups so the provider can monitor vision, lens fit, and eye health.
